While working in the Geyer Brisbane office John Dunn worked to design and implement the new fitout for Thiess Brisbane John carried out a series of Brand and Culture workshops with the key people within Thiess The key brand attributes out of the workshops were Honesty / Flexibility / Adaptability / Practicality / Hard Wearing and a Queensland Icon The design was to project an energetic / forward thinking organisation that leads the way and is ahead of the competition
Thiess was a disparate organisation coming together from three separate sites as well as having a large mobile site based work force so it was important that the new office was to be a catalyst to get everyone together as a team The key was to plan a central hub / club as well as several collaborative meeting / workshop areas all adjacent to a new centalised stair offering quick vertical access through their new three floor fitout The design team developed a workplace using a kit of parts that allowed for cost effective personalisation of worksettings according to the task to be undertaken.
Fitout is over 4620 square metres Grey Street South Bank Brisbane
