In 2013 IDC was engaged by Aurizon to design the new open workplace in 175 Eagle Street Brisbane for Aurizon
The workplace consists of 5 levels of open plan workplace & half a level of conference facility | reception
The levels where not contiguous but in two groups Levels 9 to 11 as well as half level 2 then levels 3 & 4
The design principal followed has the built environment containing meeting & utility areas hugging the core and the 120 degree open plan to the perimeter window zone
An internal stair has been positioned adjacent the breakout facility on the western end of each floor
This has proven highly successful assisting both collaboration & connection within & between work groups as the floor plates are only 950 sq metres in size
The finishes palette reflects and reinforces the Aurizon Brand
An extensive use of hero graphics feature both on the working floors as well as the conference facility this adds a valuable insight into what Aurizon does as it core business
Fitout is 6500 square metres within 175 Eagle Street Brisbane
