While working with Geyer Brisbane John Dunn designed and implement the four floor refurbishment of Minter Ellison Lawyers in Brisbane Although the base fitout was 16 years old part of the working floor layout was flexible enough to be refurbished rather that totally demolished however the client areas where fractured and offer poor facilities. The client floor was demolished and re planned and now offer ready to go facilities within each room as well as a full commercial catering facility.

On the typical work floors all of the external offices were retained with the remainder demolished and re planned with new finishes applied such as carpet / ceiling tiles / colour palette and cabling infrastructure. Over the past 16 years the support to author ratios have changed greatly therefore this was the opportunity to re balance the fitout to reflect these ratios. On average the new design layout offers an additional 12 new office / work positions as well as better utility / printer positions
